Requirements

What Employers Are Looking For

Most industrial facilities expect:

Journeyman electrician license.
Experience with industrial wiring methods: rigid conduit, cable tray, and direct burial.
Knowledge of motor control circuits, variable frequency drives, and basic PLC operation.
OSHA 30 for construction or general industry.
Experience with NFPA 70E and arc flash safety procedures.
