Automotive Electrician - FIFO

About the role:

Aurizon is looking for a qualified and experienced Auto Electrician to join our Murrin Murrin Operations in WA on a 2 & 1 Roster flying out of Perth. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Aurizon’s mobile plant assets, ensuring their safety, reliability, and efficiency. You will work within a structured maintenance program, responding to planned and unplanned maintenance while upholding Aurizon’s commitment to safety and operational excellence.

• To conduct routine corrective electrical maintenance and fault repair
• Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with technical and
  operational specifications
• Maintain all records and associated documentation relating to asset
  condition, maintenance programs and costing systems
• Report on actual work performed against the scheduled work program
• Progress the implementation and application of work procedures and
  practices in pursuit of ensuring continuous quality improvement.

About you: 

• Relevant nationally accredited Automotive Electrical Trade Certification
• Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting ability with respect to heavy equipment electrical and wiring systems
• High level of knowledge of electrical functions, defects and fault finding with automotive equipment
• High level of skill in interpreting technical instructions and drawings
• Strong commitment to safety
• Current unrestricted WA driving licence
