Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrician Helper / Foreman to join our team in Herndon, VA! In this role you will support multiple clients through maintenance and installation of many different types of technologies along the roadside.
What You'll Be Doing:
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical issues; apply knowledge around wiring schematics
Apply knowledge of Switchgear and the hazards involved in racking in and out of breakers from 480 Volts-12,470 Volts
Pulling electrical cable
Work with Maintenance Team as needed
Drive TMA and other large vehicles
Coordinate electrical installations
Observe and learn proper electrical techniques, tools, and safety procedures
Handle tools, materials, and job documentation as directed
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
High School or equivalent, and typically 4+ yrs of experience
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on interest in the trades
Willingness to work hard, take direction, and grow
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Maintain a clean, organized job site and service vehicle
Knowledge of Transportation Technology Electrical Services
Maintenance of Traffic experience is preferred
Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and carry equipment up to 250 feet unassisted
Safely use ladders and hand/power tools
