Description
The Master Electrician safely performs troubleshooting, maintenance, tests, repairs and electrical installations in large commercial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment on-site
- Perform electrical installations of a commercial nature
- Plan layout and installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes
- Install electrical conduit, equipment, fixtures or wiring in floors, walls and ceilings
- Install, inspect and test electrical systems
- Perform installations which include but are not limited to panel boards, conduits, lay-in fixtures, wall packs, exit signs, light fixtures, disconnects, breakers, power distribution equipment and power supply wiring
- Refer to labels, job site maps, instruction manuals, and written instructions to accurately to perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
- Report work orders, scheduled jobs and work progress to a foreperson
- Ensure code compliance through proper installation of electrical components

Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older

Seven (7) years of experience as an electrician in the electrical field is required.

Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license

Must possess master electrician's license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed.
