Service Manager & Lead Master Electrician

About the Role

Price Electric Company, a premier electrical contracting firm with a 30-year legacy and an industry-leading 0.85 EMR safety rating, is expanding its footprint from the Midwest into Virginia. We are seeking a "One-Man Army" to lead this expansion.

You will be the founding member of our Virginia branch. In the first 6–12 months, you will wear three hats: Technical Lead (performing service work), Business Developer (securing recurring service contracts), and Licensing Partner (acting as the Qualified Individual for our VA Class A License).

As the branch grows, your role will transition into a pure Branch Manager position, overseeing a fleet of service vehicles and a team of technicians.

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Licensing & Compliance: Act as the Qualified Individual (QI) for Price Electric’s Virginia Class A Contractor License.
• The "Hunter" (Business Development): Leverage our 30-year history and healthcare/data center credentials to secure new Preventative Maintenance Agreements (PMAs) with Facility Managers and Property Owners.
• The "Player" (Technical): Operate our first VA-based service truck, performing high-margin service calls, infrared thermography, and emergency repairs.
• System Integration: Utilize our digital stack (SharePoint, Power Automate, and IntelliBid) to manage jobs, timesheets, and estimates from the field.
• Safety Leadership: Uphold our elite safety standards (NFPA 70E), ensuring all VA operations maintain our 0.85 EMR reputation.

The Ideal Candidate

• The Credential: Holds a current Virginia Master Electrician License (Required).
• The Experience: 10+ years in the electrical trade, with at least 5 years of experience in Commercial/Industrial service (Data Centers or Healthcare experience is a major plus).
• The Mindset: You are an "intrapreneur." You want the autonomy of running your own shop with the financial backing, bonding capacity, and back-office support of an established firm.
• The Tech: Proficient with mobile technology and field management software.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe in rewarding the "Hustle." We have structured this role to offer the highest upside in the VA market:

• Base Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 (Based on experience).
• Growth Incentive: 5% - 10% Gross Profit Commission
• Future Upside: A clear path to Branch Manager with profit-sharing opportunities as we scale the VA team.
